The Cost of Care
The Cost of Emergency Examination, Hospitalization and Care
Emergency care can be very costly. These costs reflect the expense of maintaining a fully staffed state-of-the-art facility. Each patient is charged an emergency fee that covers the doctor’s initial examination and consultation. Additional fees are charged for diagnostics and treatments required by your pet’s condition. It is not always possible to accurately predict the outcome and associated costs of care and hospitalization. Estimates will be provided and every attempt to adhere to these will be made. We will try to inform you beforehand of any additional or projected costs if the estimate may be exceeded.
A deposit equal to 50% of the high end of the fee estimate is required at the time of admission to the hospital. We do not offer a billing service. The full balance is due at the time of discharge. Options for payment include cash, credit card (American Express, VISA, MC, Discover, CareCreditTM).
